Membership Categories
Active (Full Member) $150 – Photographer that holds a limited Sales Tax Permit/Employee of Active Member/Faculty of accredited educational institution teaching photography – copy of sales tax permit/business license and portfolio of work must be presented to the Board
- voting member, may use SPPA logo in promotions. Active members are eligible for Photographer of the Year and the SPPA merit system honors.
Associate $75 – Person with professional interest in photography but engaged in an occupation other than photography. OR employee of Active Member not qualifying for or desiring Active Membership -non-voting, may not use SPPA logo, does not qualify for merits or Photographer of the Year.
Vendor $150 – Business that supplies goods and services to photographers - non-voting, may use SPPA logo
Vendor Associate $75– Person employed by Vendor Member - non-voting, may not use SPPA logo
Student $50 – Student preparing for photography career in a college or vocational school -non-voting, may not use SPPA logo
