Marie Martineau Bio

Since opening Parkway Photography  Minnesota in 1985, and  establishing Timeless Memories Photography in 1993 in Olympia, Washington,  Marie Martineau has received State, Regional, and National awards for her wedding, illustrative  and portrait work .  In recognition of her professional achievements she has earned  recognition :

1988 – Certified Professional Photographer (second woman in the State of Minnesota and twentieth in the United States) from the Professional  Photographers of America.

1995-1996- Served the Executive Board of the Professional Photographers of Washington as  secretary.

1999 – Associate Fellow Degree in Photography from the Professional Photographers  of Washington.

2006 – Fellow Degree in Photography from the Professional Photographers of Washington.

2007 – President of the Professional Photographers of Washington.

2007- Appointed as honorary trustee for the State of Washington to PPA Charities

2008 – Photographic Craftsman Degree from the Professional Photographers of America for teaching and mentoring within the art.

2009 – Elected to the Professional Photographers of America National Council.

2010 – The Professional Photographers of America National Award ,the highest  award that can be given to an individual and can only be awarded once in a lifetime.

2012 Re-Elected to the Professional Photographers of America National Council.

To maintain her ongoing skill in the art, she maintains membership in the Professional Photographers of Washington and the Professional Photographers of America.  She also attends and instructs at national schools and seminars to further her professional excellence.
